Deal ID - Definition
Digital advertising is the land of acronyms and technical terms. Our glossary can help you make sense of it all with definitions of the most common terminology.
What is Deal ID?
A Deal Identifier (Deal ID) is a unique 19-character code generated by a publisher's supply-side platform (SSP) or ad server for a programmatic direct deal, such as private auctions, preferred deals, or guaranteed deals. The Deal ID allows media buyers to identify publishers in the auction and access premium inventory under pre-negotiated terms. This ensures greater transparency and control for both publishers and advertisers, facilitating efficient and targeted ad buying.
