Liquid Design - Definition

Digital advertising is the land of acronyms and technical terms. Our glossary can help you make sense of it all with definitions of the most common terminology.

What is Liquid Design?

Liquid ad layouts are designed to adjust dynamically according to the size of the user's browser window. The layout is based on percentages of the window's current dimensions, meaning that as the window is resized, the ad's size and positioning will scale proportionally. This ensures that the ad maintains its relative weight on the page, providing a consistent visual experience across different screen sizes. Regardless of the device or browser used, liquid ads remain adaptable, ensuring they fit seamlessly into the page design without compromising their visibility or effectiveness.
