Look-Alike - Definition
Digital advertising is the land of acronyms and technical terms. Our glossary can help you make sense of it all with definitions of the most common terminology.
What is Look-Alike?
An AI-driven audience scoring process leverages machine learning algorithms to analyze and identify audiences that exhibit similar characteristics to an initial segment, often referred to as "seed data." Seed data is typically composed of a marketer's existing first-party data, such as customer profiles, behaviors, or past interactions. By using AI, this process not only identifies similar audiences based on demographic, behavioral, or contextual data but also continuously refines the targeting process, improving accuracy over time. This allows marketers to expand their reach, targeting individuals who are more likely to engage or convert, based on patterns and insights derived from the initial segment.
