What is Over-The-Top (OTT)?
OTT (Over-the-Top) refers to any video content delivered directly to viewers over the internet, bypassing traditional cable boxes. It is an umbrella term that encompasses both Connected TV (CTV) and Online Video (OLV) advertising. Popular services such as Netflix, Hulu, and Sling are examples of OTT platforms. However, this term is considered outdated and is no longer used in Criteo’s vocabulary.
